A recent article in Outside Magazine highlights the importance of sensible sun exposure.  There are big hazards associated with Vitamin D deficiency;  it is essential to nearly every cell and tissue in your body, including your immune system.  Get a sensible non burning 15 minute exposure daily preferably with a hat to shadow your face.
